Who is eligible for a grant from the Foundation? The McCune Charitable Foundation accepts online applications for community-based projects in the state of New Mexico in the areas of arts, education, environment, economic development, health, and social services. Grants for operating expenses, programs, and capital expenses are considered. The Foundation makes grants to qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, federally recognized Indian tribes, public schools, and governmental agencies. No grants are made to individuals.
What is the dollar amount of the average grant award? The average grant award is $12,000.
When can I apply for a grant? The Foundation has one open application cycle per year. The open application cycle for 2008 funding is now closed. The Foundation will be accepting applications online in all categories for 2009 funding during the period of August 15 through September 30, 2008. The dates of the open application period are not always the same each year. Please check our website frequently for updates on future funding cycles.
I can not remember my password. Is it possible to retrieve it through your system? The sign in page will ask you to enter your email address and password. How can I get a copy of the foundations latest report? The latest report is available for download on this website. Click on downloads and then McCune reports and you will find it there.
